The role

We are delighted to confirm that we are seeking applications for the position of Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager.  Based at Head Office, Hangar 5, Dublin Airport and reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, this is a full time, permanent role.  Key responsibilities will include the following, in addition to supporting the Continuing Airworthiness Manager with the management of the CAMO;

 

  • Ensuring Airworthiness Directive compliance of the fleet
  • Active participation in the Operators Safety Management System
  • Reporting of required occurrences to TCH.
  • Liaison and oversight of liaison with TCH, OEM, Vendors, AMOs and the IAA in relation to matters on continued airworthiness of managed aircraft.
  • Review and approval of the Approved Maintenance Programme (AMP).
  • Review and approval EOs, SBs and non-mandatory modifications.
  • Attend and chair meetings as required
  • Production of a detailed manpower plan for the Operator’s CAMO.
  • Monitor TCH documentation publication including ICA and initiate appropriate action including revisions of MEL and AMP as appropriate.
  • Support aircraft deliveries and redeliveries.

 

About you

 

Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager, shall meet a minimum of at least one of the following basic requirements.

 

a) Hold a NFQ level 7 (or equivalent) qualification in an Engineering discipline (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic).

Or

b) Held a category B Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence.

And

C) Have at least 5 years’ work experience in a CAMO/aircraft maintenance environment, including a minimum of 2 years work experience in a CAMO environment.

Desirable requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CAMO, technical services, maintenance provider or similar highly regulated environment essential.
  • Have knowledge, experience and a keen interest in Continuing Airworthiness Management
  • Previous experience with AMOS is desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Be well organised with very good attention to detail.
  • Be comfortable working to strict deadlines on multiple tasks and projects as part of a team.
  • Take responsibility for tasks, with the ability to see projects through to fruition.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
