The role
- Will report to the NPCT to assist in the running of the Training Dept, and will contribute to the selection of new flight crew as well as command candidates and training personnel, in coordination with DFO and Dept of People and Culture.
- The role will require the candidate to provide support to the NPCT/DFO in maintaining compliance with Company policy as well as EASA & CAA regulations.
- They will be responsible for the development and implementation of training programmes including regular reviews to ensure the highest operational standards are met.
- It is expected that a presence will be maintained on normal line flights as well as carrying out simulator sessions to ensure compliance and maintenance of company procedures.
The Person
- They will hold a current ATR type rating and will also hold a TRI rating with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an airline training environment.
- A good working knowledge of EASA regulations is expected, although training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Familiarity with the requirements of initial and recurrent crew training, with the ability to manage multiple priorities .
- Confident IT skills specifically Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills, with the willingness to support and influence change.
- Able to encourage the development of standards in others.
- Good Attention to detail and quality minded
- Proven planning & organisation skills along with problem solving strategies.
