Financial Accountant

The role

We are delighted to confirm that we are seeking applications for the position of Financial Accountant. Based at Dublin Airport and reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a full time, permanent role and an excellent opportunity to join a growing business. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in completion of accurate monthly management accounts
• Partnering with departments across the business; providing financial analysis and delivering insights that support informed decision-making. To achieve this, you will need to gain a deep understanding of the operations of the business
• Support the annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes
• Assist in year end reporting, including preparation of statutory financial statements
• Act as a primary contact for external auditors
• Support the Finance team in continuous improvement and innovation, including design, testing and implementation of financial reporting systems and processes
• Attending to other adhoc duties as required within the Finance team.

• Qualified accountant with relevant experience
• Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility for deliverables
• Ability to develop strong working relationships
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Aviation industry experience is beneficial but not essential
