The Role
We are currently looking to recruit an IT Support Technician with Office 365 Administration Experience based at our airside facility in Dublin Airport. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is a unique opportunity to join the IT team of Ireland’s newest airline, Emerald Airlines, and to gain invaluable experience on the operation of mission critical IT infrastructure required to run an airline.
This is an exciting and varied role for an ambitious individual with a huge potential to develop and grow within the airline. The successful candidate will possess the knowledge and experience of the hardware, software and maintenance of the IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of our Office 365 environment, including SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive and Teams
- Experience in Power BI to Design, Develop and Deploy Dashboards, a distinct advantage
- Setup, maintain and provide technical support for the day-to-day management of our on-site IT Systems and infrastructure:
- Windows Server 2019 Active Directory Administration
- Internal network management, including VLANs, DNS, DHCP and LDAP
- Monitor and maintain Firewalls, Switches and SAN storage
- Manage Laptops, Desktops and Printers
- Microsoft Windows 10/11 Provisioning
- Net extender Client VPN Deployment
- Cloud Security Infrastructure
- 3CX VOIP System integrated with Teams
- Manage IT incident helpdesk from logging tickets through to resolution
Ad-hoc tasks, IT projects and reports as required
Key Competencies / Skills Required:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong technical and problem-solving ability with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
- Initiative, self-direction and motivation
Essential Criteria:
- Third-level qualification in computer science, information systems or another related IT field
- Must be able to pass a 5-year background check
- Have permission to live and work in Ireland without restriction
Advantageous:
- Knowledge of: Linux; Cisco switches and SonicWall Firewalls
- Experience with: Swiss+ AMOS ERP
- Working in an aviation-related environment
