Emerald Airlines, the exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional services, today announces its new route between Dublin and Rennes, accommodating those travelling to Paris for the Rugby World Cup. With up to 15 trains per day serving Paris, passengers can travel directly from Rennes to Paris via train, with an average journey time of 01 hour 45 mins to Paris Montparnasse station.

Rennes, the capital city of the Brittany region of France, has efficient transport links to Paris including frequent intercity high-speed trains (TGV). The new service will provide fans with access to a number of the upcoming games —  

• Ireland v South Africa: 23rd September 

• Ireland v Scotland: 7th October 

• Quarter Final 2 & 4: 14th and 15th October 

• Semi Final 1 & 2: 20th and 21st of October

• Final: 28th of October

This new route complements the airline’s service between Dublin - Brest, Brittany, which commenced in May of this year.
