Commencing on the 21st of May 2026, the new service will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, offering convenient schedules for both business and leisure passengers. Tickets are on sale now at www.aerlingus.com.
The flights will provide passengers with direct access to one of Scotland’s most scenic and culturally rich regions. From the dramatic landscapes of the Highlands to the iconic filming location of The Traitors UK and the world-renowned Harry Potter Jacobite steam train - visitors will be spoilt for choice!
Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines said: “We are delighted to be adding another new connection from Dublin, just in time for the busy summer season. We believe this will be warmly welcomed by both business and leisure travellers alike, and look forward to welcoming passengers onboard in the very near future.”
Dan Mason, Inverness Airport Manager, said: “It is exciting to see the return of direct flights between Inverness and Dublin, restoring a route that has been missed by passengers across the Highlands and Islands.
This service not only reconnects the region with Ireland’s capital but it also provides onward access to North America via Aer Lingus transatlantic flights, including New York and Boston, with convenient connection times through Dublin.
Welcoming Aer Lingus to Inverness for the first time is a positive step for regional connectivity and passenger choice, and we are thrilled to work with the airline as the route launches and develops”
This latest addition reflects Aer Lingus Regional’s continued commitment to expanding its network by offering customers greater choice, convenience and connectivity between Ireland, the UK and beyond.
