The Role:

This role is suited to a range of individuals including recent graduates looking to begin their career in aviation asset management, aviation professionals with 1-2 years experience looking to transition into the aircraft leasing and asset management sector, and individuals with existing asset management or leasing experience seeking a new challenge.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, commercially aware, and eager to develop a strong understanding of aircraft assets and the leasing industry from an airline perspective. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to build effective relationships across technical, operational, and commercial teams.

This role provides exposure to aircraft leasing, maintenance reserve management, asset transitions, engineering planning, contract management, and airline fleet strategy, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to develop or further their career in aviation asset management.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit MR claims to lessors ensuring supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Generate and distribute monthly Lessor utilisation reports for all leased assets.
  • Monitor aircraft and engine utilisation to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
  • Assist in the management of insurance claims and in annual renewal process.
  • Monitor lease obligations and key contractual milestones to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Coordinate and assist with the preparation, review, and administration of aircraft lease documentation.
  • Track and manage outstanding delivery and return condition obligations with Lessors.
  • Support the management of engine and landing gear repair and overhaul activities.
  • Co-Ordinate across CAMO, Planning, and Materials teams to ensure availability of engines and landing gears.
  • Co-Ordinate across CAMO and P145 regarding annual record and physical inspection requirements.
  • Support the preparation of engineering and maintenance budgets and forecast updates.
  • Analyse fleet downtime events and associated operational and financial impacts.
  • Maintain asset management records and produce analytical reports.
  • Support Asset Manager in day-to-day activities, fleet projects, and ad hoc initiatives as required
Essential Requirement;
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to interpret and present data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.

 

Desirable:
  • Previous experience in an airline, aircraft lessor, MRO, aviation consultancy, or related aviation environment.
  • Knowledge of aircraft leasing structures, maintenance reserve claims, technical records, lease compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with contract administration and document management.
  • Understanding of commercial aviation and aircraft lifecycle.
